Customers are free to use the tables and services - however for gaming theres a small fee!
All games in the gaming area are free for Halfmoon Game Cafe customers (until Sunday, Jan 4th).
Customer status is achieved by purchasing cafe products or spending over 20 € in the shop during the same day.
Pricing starting Monday, Jan 5th:
- Gaming Fee: 3 € / person / day.
- Console Stations: 3 € / hour (no gaming fee required; accommodates 1–4 players).
Rules & Reservations
- Reservations: Book gaming space via email at info@halfmoongame.cafe.
- Own Games: You are welcome to play your own games in the gaming area.
- Food & Drink: Please enjoy only drinks and treats purchased from our cafe or shop.

- Featuring PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 stations.
- PEGI 18 / Adult Content: These products are for adults only—minors are strictly prohibited from playing, touching, or interacting with them.

- Under Construction: Our space and features are still being developed—visit us often to see our gaming world grow!
- Helsinki Warehouse & Shop: Products from our Helsinki stock and shop can be purchased or picked up at the pickup point during cafe opening hours. Ask our staff for assistance!
- Browse Online: Check our selection online or ask at the pickup point.
- Game Testing: Feel free to ask if we can bring a specific game from our massive shop inventory to the cafe for testing!

Come and play games from the Halfmoon Game Cafe library! We have over 300 options available, and we are constantly growing our collection.
- Browse & Request: You can ask to play games from the shop side—sometimes we can get a specific game ready for play immediately.
- Own Games: You are also welcome to bring and play your own games in the gaming area.
- Pre-order Games: You can request specific games in advance when making a table reservation!
Board Game Etiquette:
- Return Games: Please return games to the same shelf where you found them.
- Stay Organized: Keep all cards, tokens, and components in order.
- Protect the Games: Be careful not to spill drinks on the games. When eating, please use napkins and serving utensils whenever possible.
Community Spirit:
Play fair, be patient, and be a good sport. The excitement and fun are more important than winning! Help teach others how to play, invite people to join your game, and try out a variety of different titles.
Events & Gatherings:
Board game tournaments and dedicated game nights are coming soon! Interested in hosting? Let us know if you want to run "big box" board game sessions or organize your own gaming meetups.

The Game Cafe features PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 gaming stations.
Pricing: 3 € / hour per console station. This includes 1–4 controllers for free-play gaming!
Requests Welcome: Ask for specific games—we can likely make them available for you to play!

We provide playmats and counters, as well as singles/extra cards to help you build the core of your decks (MTG, Pokémon).

We provide terrain pieces, playmats, and tables large enough for even the biggest games.
Miniature painting station available on select days—come and test out new paints, such as paint pens!

We have a lineup of organized musical performances, live-action roleplaying (LARP), campaigns, and tournaments that will span many evenings and continue far into the future.
Meeting Rooms: Our private rooms (cabinets) are perfect for meetings or exclusive gaming sessions.
Private Events: We rent out our facilities for private parties.
